ula Skirt is completely
created
and hand crafted involving many hours and usually weeks to complete depending. The waist is woven and decorated in black pony beads and is 1 1/2” wide. The length is 33” and the wrist is 41-42”.thus can be scrunched pushing woven bundles closet together or over lapped. Included are 4 hooks and eyes that you will need to handstitch. By adding a Tahitian dance belt , you can convert from hula to Tahitian. Light weight but strong .
Unique and each piece is handmade from the weaving of the cords and stringing pony beads for pattern to give skirt a beginning and direction. Skirts are made in a med length to full. Skirts are

. Proper length should be about 3” above ankles,
easy to trim when layed out and weighted to avoid moving and to stay in place while taking Scissors to cut straight and even. I always make the first cut slightly longer than planned just in case. Once the basic skirt is made than I will hand shred bunches of the celephane roping to make skirt lighter, more flowing and can be used for execution dancing of Hula or also make a Tahitian skirt with waist belt decorations.

The blending will take more facts and shredded more heavily. The waste on this is approximately
41-42”
and can be moved in slightly by moving each of the bundles of rope to a waste of approximately 38, to less. The lengths on the skirt is

inches. This is produced not to be see through. To modify the waste can only be done slightly. You can over lap the waste bands to make smaller, but when you add the hooks you might want.
To add the Hooks slightly close to each other to know theRight Size. Please see pictures for details. Make sure after you sew hooks in to try the skirt on and it’s important to double them up to keep skirt up and not go slipping down.
Included are 4 latch hooks. You will need to secure with heavy duty string and important to tie the hook to the center brown rope to assure that the bunch roping does not slide out to make skirt waist increase.
Note: I normally spend 20-40 hours just to produce med shred. By taking time to split roping. The finer the finish the price will reflects. Keep out of direct light, heat and avoid around fire, highly flammable. Also avoid unsupervised child handling since could cause choking. If when first received and cording is creased, just take water misting bottle with warm way and lightly spray,shake and hang in warm room or area till dried. Avoid wetting any wood beads, shells or feathers. Condition is New.
