Handmade Leather Tahitian Dance Waist Belt worn over Wrap Or Grass Skirt

This is a one of a kind all Handmade with the base belt cut from heavy duty white Leather. (2 1/2”wide). Colors are white belt, green, gold, yellow, bronze, black. I find that leather has a firmer grip compared to material coverings and lasts much longer. The belt is ornamented with 9 finely brushed out cellophane rope tassels in a golden color. Tassels are 6 1/2” long. Also decorated with green pony beads, silk fern leaves, raffia rounds natural, shells and black 8-10”rooster tail feathers. Length of belt measures 37” Included are 4 large coat hooks. In order to attach hooks, please send me hip measurement so that I can punch small holes in which you can sew hooks on with. I would recommend due to width of belt to have two rolls of two pair of hooks. If you need the belt slightly longer, I can sew an additional 2” straps on each end but only the additional length. Does not mean with additional beads or tassels. Belt can be overlapped but may require cutting the tassel under the overlap to assure tight fit. Belt actually sits on hips do measure waist because if you measure waist, you may need additional holes to sew hooks on where they will fit. If you are going to use over grass skirt, You can attach directly to skirt. Suggest to go 1/2“ smaller since leather will eventually stretch slightly over time.
