Vintage 1946 Handmade Philippines Crochet Silk Fringe Skirt and Matching Bra. This authentic handmade Philippines fringe skirt and matching bra are in excellent condition for its age. The bra is made from coiled rope that is an off-white color with hand painted purple flowers with green leaves. The skirt has a crocheted or braided waist band and long fringe. The fringe is dipped in purple paint or dye creating an ombre effect. The waist band is hand painted in yellow, purple, and green. At the center it reads, "Philippines, 1946." There are flowers and decorations surrounding the words.
This piece is in good vintage condition. The coloring is a bit faded and the fringe is slightly tangled. It is definitely wearable or able to be displayed on a mannequin. This piece is sold as is, please view all photos prior to purchasing.
