VINTAGE 1950'S HAWAIIAN HULA GIRL MOTION LAMP

Description

This lamp has been in my collection for over 35 years and it works flawlessly! This particular design features the hula girl with upright arms and hands to the sides of her head.  The metal finish shows the original "patina" as I liked it but it can be polished to a bright finish if desired. There are absolutely NO breaks, cracks or damage of any kind. The vintage hula skirt is in very good condition and is firmly attached to the "swiveling" hips when she hulas ! The base is in very good condition as well still showing the original patina and and houses the original 4 position switch : off - light - hula only - hula w/ light.  The bottom base plate is stamped: DODGE INC. and has the three (3) rubber protective base screws.
The included double paper shade has been with this lamp since I acquired it all those many years ago. It does have some creases, cracks and areas of wear but still looks acceptable and fits the lamp size and shape very well. It actually screws on to the top of the light bulb socket for a very secure fit. I always thought to have a new shade made to the existing shade frame but never got around to it. I feel it adds to the "vintage" overall look and is definitely period correct.
This lamp measures approx. 18 1/2" tall from bottom of bast to top edge of bulb socket and approx. 24" to the top of the shade.  The electrical cord and plug are intact and problem-free !
