ALOHA HULA GIRL, CHALKWARE
( or Similar material)
NODDER Holding 'ULI '
ULI.
This lovely Island Girl is about 6 3/4" tall.  She has generous hips - the better to Hula with, my dear!
She was made in Japan, but the paper tag is missing. Her silky skirt is full. She is holding a pair of 'Uli 'Uli's, which are feather decorated gourds, used in traditional Hawaiian dance.  She has a Magnet on the base, so that she could sit on an old style dashboard and shake, shake, shake!!
She is in very good, vintage condition, with very little paint loss.  There is a Hairline crack on her left arm.
