Vintage Hawaiian Hula Dancer Collection (7 pieces)
Artes Folklorico presents a rare collection of early Hawaiian collectible.  The collection features five hula dancers and a smaller couple who are seated.  The pieces all feature original grass skirts and leighs.  These ‘nodder’ or ‘bobber’ dancers were made in Japan in the 1950s/60s for export for tourists in Hawaii.  A few say “ALOHA” along the base.  They are all in very good vintage condition with minimal signs of wear (see photographs).  They all wobble nicely for added enjoyment.  They measure in height from 8-inhes to 4-inches.  This is the beginning of an instant collection that would take years to find.  Also a museum quality collection that would be a must have for anyone that collects vintage, old or antique Hawaiian collectibles, hula dancers, hula nodders, hula bobbers or vintage Hawaiiana.
