  • Condition: Great condition- some Raffia dyed green and some reddish brown, top of skirt is hand woven/knotted (has been modified at some point, top was covered with bark cloth band). The bleached/dyed pink and green tassels are a little bit tangled but doesn't detract from overall presentation. Hooks & eyes closure added onto bark cloth band - might need repositioning for fit adjustment, one eye needs reattachment on one side.

    Description

    Rare! A vintage Hawaiian hula skirt costume. Wrap around (apron style). The top of the skirt is covered in a bright cotton bark cloth waistband, fastens via metal hooks on one end and metal eyes on the other end of the waistband. Looks great for costume, display, as a wall hanging or bar liner, too!
